The Asian Banker recognized Demir Bank as the best retail bank in Central Asia

Demir Bank has received an International Prestigious Award. Based on the results of annual research carried out by the financial edition «The Asian Banker" Demir Bank has been named as «The Best Retail Bank in Kyrgyzstan in 2011» in Asia.

The Awards Ceremony was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 11 March 2011 within the International Excellence in Retail Financial Services Award Program.

Over 170 banks and financial institutes from 29 countries were involved in the research, in which the information about banks was gathered in a period of more than 3 months and then presented to the board of independent judges including international experts and financial institution consultants for further referee. During the evaluation process especially the reports on new products and the general information on operating systems with retail clients were paid a close attention.

The award «The Best Retail Bank in Kyrgyzstan in 2011» bestowed to Demir Bank for impressive results in retail banking once again confirmed its leading position in Asia. The Bank has achieved significant results in year 2010 offering a wealth of banking products and services to people and showing good practice in retail banking in Kyrgyzstan.

It is necessary to note that the level of reliance from the representatives of global business community in regards to Demir Bank is constantly growing as evidenced by the increased number of high evaluations and public recognitions. In the current year Demir Bank more than once was recognized by international financial institutions.

Demir Bank has rightfully deserved three outstanding awards from different international financial market observers and was granted by such statuses as: "The Best Active Bank in issuing trade finance products (bank guarantees and accreditives)" by European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, "The Best Bank in Kyrgyzstan 2010" by "Euromoney" and "The Best Bank in Kyrgyzstan 2010" by "The Banker".

These recognitions prove that the chosen development strategies and its management policy are most appropriate for the Bank, which was able not only to improve its activity during the crisis period, but also to professionally take the advantage of the situation creating significant benefits to its customers.
