Requirements

• Higher education in Economics with a Master’s degree;
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the banking sector;
• Proficiency in English is preferred;
• Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory acts of the Kyrgyz Republic governing banking activities, including regulatory documents of the NBKR, understanding of the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF), International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing in banks, and knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

🔧 What will your role involve:

• Preparing audit programs for the verification of the bank's processes and departments;
• Conducting audits of business processes, branch activities, and other structural units of the bank;
• Evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control system by reviewing processes, verifying documentation, analyzing bank reports, and generating recommendations aimed at improving the bank's internal control system;
• Preparing and properly presenting audit reports containing findings to the Head of Department, members of the Management Board, and heads of relevant departments;
• Monitoring the implementation of action plans by the bank's departments to eliminate deficiencies and fulfill recommendations of the Internal Audit Department;
• Coordinating cooperation and interaction with the NBKR within the framework of external supervision, comprehensive, and targeted bank inspections under the guidance of the Head of Department;
• Conducting or participating in internal investigations and special reviews related to the bank's activities as requested by management;
• Participating in the preparation of periodic reports on the activities of the Internal Audit Department for the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors of the Bank;
• Coordinating the teamwork of auditors during the audit process;
• Strictly maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the ethical standards of the International Code of Ethics for Auditors.
