One of Kyrgyzstan's leading digital banks, “Demir Kyrgyz International Bank” Closed Joint Stock Company (DemirBank), and Uzbekistan's leading digital bank, Uzum Bank, have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of financial services in Central Asia.
Both organizations are combining their expertise to create modern, secure, and customer-oriented fintech solutions. The main priority of the partnership will be to develop fast and convenient cross-border money transfer services, as well as to create innovative products that simplify access to financial services for millions of people in the region.
This collaboration goes beyond financial technology and is an important step towards strengthening economic ties and developing regional integration.

As a first step in the partnership, DemirBank has already successfully launched money transfer services to Uzbekistan, including transfers to Uzcard and Humo national cards. This result marks the beginning of a long-term and strategically important cooperation that will bring tangible benefits to citizens and contribute to the further strengthening of economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
