Recommendations for using cards for cashless payments for goods and services:
- Do not use payment cards at retail or service establishments that do not inspire trust.
- Always request that transactions with your payment card be carried out only in your presence. This is necessary to reduce the risk of unauthorized access to your personal data on the card.
- When using a payment card to pay for goods or services, the cashier may ask the cardholder to sign the receipt and enter a PIN code. Before entering the PIN code, make sure that people nearby cannot see it. Always check the amount indicated on the receipt before signing.

Safety
Before using your card for online payments, please check the following details with your bank:
- Keep your bank card in a safe place;
- - In order to prevent illegal operations to withdraw funds from your bank account, we recommend using a Virtual Card to pay for purchases on the Internet. A VK is created only if you have a credit card. It is important to know that the credit card limit is equal to the VK limit;
- When conducting transactions on the Internet, make sure that the online store is secure; use the services of only trusted sites and make purchases from your computer, and not in an Internet cafe where spyware may be installed;
- To ensure the safety of Internet transactions, we recommend making payments on sites that support 3D - Secure security technology;
- Save documents and reports by e-mail on payment for services and delivery of goods;
- Regularly review the history of transactions performed (transaction history) on your cards in the Internet bank;
What to do if payment does not go through (for cardholders)
- Insufficient funds on the card;
- Part of the amount on the card is blocked, please contact your bank;
- Payments on the internet are prohibited for your card. Contact the bank to verify this;
- The card may be blocked due to suspected fraudulent activity. If this happens, you will be notified, and the card will be reissued;
- Some banks prohibit transactions in certain online stores and services: for example, bookmakers or casinos. Contact your bank to learn about such restrictions;
- Purchase is prohibited for your country. This usually applies to intellectual property products and is related to their distribution restrictions.
What you need to know in advance
Before using your card for online internet payments, check with the bank that issued your card the following:

- Whether there are sufficient funds on your card to make the payment;
- Whether your card is active, i.e., the expiration date has not passed at the time of the payment;
- Whether there are any restrictions on the use of your card (such as account balance blocking, card blocking, etc.).
